Privacy & Cookies

This site is the personal portfolio of Stéfano Girardelli, an independent designer based in São Paulo, Brazil. This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit it, and why. It is written to meet the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the GDPR.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Stéfano Girardelli, São Paulo, Brazil. For any privacy question or request, write to hello@stefanobg.com.

What is collected

• Contact form. Your name, email address and message, only when you choose to send them. They are used exclusively to read and answer your message (legal basis: your request and legitimate interest in replying). They are never sold, shared for marketing or added to a newsletter.
• Anonymous analytics. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure performance. They do not use cookies, do not track you across sites and do not identify you personally.
• Technical logs. The hosting provider processes technical data such as IP address and browser type for a short period to deliver the site securely and prevent abuse.

No other personal data is collected. There are no user accounts, payments or advertising on this site.

Service providers

• Vercel Inc. (USA): hosting, analytics and performance metrics.
• Resend (USA): delivery of contact form messages by email.
• Microsoft (Microsoft 365): the mailbox where messages are received.
• Vimeo and YouTube: video players embedded on some pages (see Cookies below).

Some of these providers are located outside Brazil. Transfers rely on the safeguards offered by each provider, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long data is kept

Contact messages are kept in the mailbox for as long as needed to handle the conversation, and in any case no longer than 24 months, unless a longer period is required by law. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymous.

Your rights

You can ask to confirm whether your data is processed, access, correct or delete it, restrict or object to its use, and request portability. Write to hello@stefanobg.com and you will get an answer within 15 days. You may also file a complaint with the Brazilian authority (ANPD) or, in the EEA, with your local data protection authority.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies. It stores a single technical flag in your browser's session storage to avoid replaying the intro animation on every page; it contains no personal data and is deleted when you close the tab. Because nothing non-essential is stored, no cookie banner is required.

Project pages may embed videos from Vimeo (loaded with its “do not track” option) and YouTube (loaded from its privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain). These players are provided by third parties and may store data in your browser once you interact with them, under their own policies: Vimeo and Google.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the site changes. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
